As a replacement for Dynamics CRM, Dynamics 365 is much more than just a branding exercise. It’s a new generation of intelligent business applications that combines the best of Microsoft’s CRM and ERP cloud offerings into a single cloud service with dedicated applications for key business processes including sales, financials, customer service, and more.
We think this is a great approach to providing more complete business solutions. At InfoGrow, we have always encouraged our clients to bring financial information into CRM to build a better understanding of Customer Lifetime Value, and to help account reps nurture relationships with their best customers.
Our work with clients also emphasizes the on-premises integration of marketing, sales, and customer service applications to enable one view of the customer relationship across the organization. With Dynamics 365, Microsoft has created the framework for achieving such integration in the cloud.
Dynamics 365 provides organizations with a familiar user experience as well as built-in insights, intelligence, and workflow. Its common data model and consistent application platform further ensure consistency, interoperability, and extensibility.
Dynamics 365 will be delivered in two editions: Enterprise Edition (250+ users) and Business Edition (fewer than 250 users). We’ll be sharing more insights into these two editions in future posts, so please follow InfoGrow to make sure you don’t miss anything.
We’re excited to offer the Dynamics 365 portfolio of solutions to our clients. If you’re still considering whether Dynamics 365 is right for your business, check out this short Microsoft video summarizing the benefits of this intelligent approach to business applications.
