Which types of accounts did you lose and to whom did you lose them? Use this information to determine whether you’re engaging with the right prospects, and how you can improve your value proposition against specific competitors.
- Process Gaps. Do sales consistently get stuck at a certain stage of the sales process? Does this occur for some account managers or everyone? - Transparency into Rep Performance. A sales rep consistently forecasts a stalled sale to close in the current month. Why the delay? Is the projection informed and realistic? Is the project slated for the prospect’s current budget year? Is the opportunity even viable?
